Food and Compassion Ministries

Food Pantry

Grace Lutheran's FISH Food Pantry has been providing food assistance to residents of Charles County for over 30 years. Non-perishable items are donated by members and other local organizations and collected as chapel offering by students of Grace Lutheran School. Food can be picked up on Thursdays and Saturdays, 10am - 12pm (closed on holidays).

Our food pantry has seen a dramatic increase in the number of families requesting food. The following items are needed:

  • Canned fruit
  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Peanut butter & jelly
  • Canned potatoes
  • Rice and pasta
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Soups
  • Canned meats

These items can be dropped off in the food collection boxes in the family life center and outside of the narthex. Food can also be dropped off during the week at the church office, between 9 am - 2:30 pm.
