Congratulations GLS Lego Lions Gold for winning the Project Award at the regional qualifier held at CSM, Leonardtown Campus on Saturday, Dec 6th!

You are truly FLL WorldClassRGBWorld Class students!

What is the future of learning? FIRST® LEGO® League teams will find the answers. In the 2014 FLL WORLD CLASS℠ Challenge, over 265,000 children from 80 countries will redesign how we gather knowledge and skills in the 21st century. Teams will teach adults about the ways that kids need and want to learn. Get ready for a whole new class – FLL WORLD CLASS!

Grace Lutheran School is hosting a private and home-school qualifier event for the College of Southern Maryland Lego robotics competion this Spring!  The challenge will be last year's FLL theme -- Nature's Fury.

Can FIRST® LEGO® League teams help us master natural disasters? In the 2013 NATURE'S FURY℠ Challenge, over 200,000 children ages 9 to 16 from over 70 countries will explore the awe-inspiring storms, quakes, waves and more that we call natural disasters. Teams will discover what can be done when intense natural events meet the places people live, work, and play. Brace yourself for NATURE'S FURY!

Last year was our rookie year as an FLL team.  This year we're expanding our reach into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) events beyond our home-grown club. The USA Science and Engineering Festival is held annually in nearby Washington, D.C. and we've been designated an Extreme-STEM (X-STEM) school by the festival.
