The Season of Lent

Good Friday Pilgrimage

Ecumenical Good Friday Pilgrimage April 3, 2015

The Pastors will follow the Passion Narrative in Mark’s Gospel. At each church a portion of the Passion will be read, and the host pastor will share a brief homily on that part of the gospel.

We will begin with a time of worship at Grace Lutheran Church at noon. When worship has concluded we will walk down to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for another brief time of worship.

Next we will walk to Christ Episcopal Church for a third time of worship and reflection, and then finally we will walk down to La Plata United Methodist Church for a final brief service.

There will be a time of refreshments after the Pilgrimage in the fellowship hall of La Plata United Methodist Church. Bus transportation will be provided for those who cannot walk the distances, between each church, and finally all will be driven back to their parked vehicles at Grace Lutheran Church.
